But some events have taken place virtually, and many preaching movements are moving their training online.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out more of what\u2019s been going on from July 2019 \u2013 June 2020:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training Pastors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uk.langham.org\/train-pastors\/\">Langham Preaching<\/a> held <strong>331<\/strong> seminars across the world, attended by <strong>9,661<\/strong> pastors and lay leaders \u2013 nearly 10% of these are local indigenous trainers or preaching club* coordinators.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Between July 2019 and June this year<strong>, over a thousand<\/strong> preaching clubs of 7-10 pastors\/leaders met regularly for ongoing training and mentoring.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Developing Books<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/uk.langham.org\/develop-books\/\">Langham Literature<\/a> supplied <strong>13,893<\/strong> Bible-centred books to <strong>642<\/strong> Majority World colleges across <strong>80<\/strong> countries to help students grow and mature in Christ. Over 70% of these books were given free of charge through our Library Grants program.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ca.langham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/04\/Uganda-African-Renewal-University.jpg\" alt=\"Books\" class=\"wp-image-9864\" width=\"309\" height=\"174\" \/><figcaption>A Bible College in Uganda received these books for free through the Library Grant scheme.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Publisher grants enabled <strong>22 <\/strong>indigenous publishers in <strong>15<\/strong> different countries to produce <strong>50<\/strong> local language titles. <strong>28 <\/strong>Majority World editors and <strong>50<\/strong> Majority World writers have also been trained.<br><br><br><br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipping Scholars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.langham.org\/equip-scholars\/\">Langham Scholars<\/a> programme supported <strong>78<\/strong> PhD students from <strong>44<\/strong> Majority World countries.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ca.langham.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2021\/04\/Anwar-Berhe-graduation.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9865\" width=\"291\" height=\"218\" \/><figcaption>Ethiopian Langham Scholar Anwar Berhe at his graduation ceremony in December 2019. He is now an Academic Dean at a Bible College in Ethiopia. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All <strong>14<\/strong> Scholars who graduated last year have returned, or are preparing to return, to serve in the Majority World. These are leaders who will go on to shape their nations with a biblical worldview.
