Dr. Chris Wright will visit Toronto in November, and we’d like to offer you the opportunity to hear one of the leading missiologists and Old Testament scholars of our time speak at a special breakfast gathering for GTA pastors on Monday, Nov. 12, 7:30 am at 105 Gibson Drive, Markham (Warden & Steeles, directly behind Toronto Christian Community Church).

Chris will speak on a topic of interest to every preacher, “Reading and Preaching the Old Testament for Today.” Chris is the International Director of Langham Partnership, originally founded by John Stott, and author of many books, including the renowned The Mission of God. He was chair of the Lausanne Theology Working Group and chief architect of the 2010 Cape Town Lausanne Covenant.

This special breakfast will be catered by the Cultural Café, a Christian catering company owned and operated exclusively by visually impaired believers in the GTA. The cost will be $15. Tickets will go on sale early in the Fall. In the meantime, you can reserve your spot by emailing canada@langham.org

But for now we want you to simply mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on this rare opportunity. Seating is ample but limited, so seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis when tickets become available. There is plentiful free parking.

Chris Wright will also be speaking at Peoples Church, 374 Sheppard Ave E, Toronto on Monday Nov. 12 at 7:30 pm on the topic, “Sustaining faith in troubled times? Psalm 46 and Habakkuk for today.” This event is open to the broader Christian community.

In the meantime, email us with any questions at Canada@langham.org or steven.vandyck@langham.org.
